The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. is a stunning hotel Alfonso XIII, which opened after a $25 million restoration that has returned the hotel to its former splendour and magnificence. The reopened hotel Alfonso XIII will be the first of four Luxury Collection hotels that have undergone multi-million dollar restoration and opening in the next 12 months. The hotel Alfonso XIII is located in the historic area Calle San Fernando, in the heart of Seville, is considered one of the most luxurious hotels in Europe. Designed by Seville architect josé Espiau muñoz (José Espiau y Muñoz) the hotel is named in honour of king Alfonso XIII. Complete restoration of the hotel, which took 10 months, was conducted by the famous Sevillian architect Demopolis (Demopolis) and included the reconstruction of the arches in the Arab style, graceful towers and Windows in the Renaissance style. The interiors created by HBA Design Bureau, combines history and luxury through the use of hand-painted ceramic tiles Triana and Mensaque in the Oriental style, authentic carved furniture and marble surfaces. The hotel Alfonso XIII features 151 luxurious room and suites, three of which were exclusive design solutions. To reflect the rich artistic traditions of Seville, all rooms created in three designs – Moorish, Castilian and Andalusian, different colors, unique furnishings and rich interiors that create an incredible feeling of luxury and elegance.

Three exclusive suites of the hotel – the Reales Alcázares Suite, the Torreón Suite and the Royal Suite is created based on the rich history of Seville and is ready to meet desires of the most discerning traveller. The Reales Alcázares Suite interiors are decorated in warm and muted colours, and overlook the beautifully landscaped gardens and fountains Real Alcázar. Restored Salón Real Ballroom

The Alfonso XIII hotel boasts a large modern space for meetings and events, including the newly renovated Salón Real ballroom accommodating up to 500 persons, opening onto a large terrace with a beautiful view of the magnificent garden. The restoration of the Salón Real ballroom included manually restored the ceiling, the installation of crystal and bronze chandeliers in the Bohemian style, and also a new door with metal decoration in the style of Andalusian cathedrals.
