Decent hotel in Istanbul
My introduction to Istanbul began with the airport.Sabiha Gokcen Airport. A small but modern airport. Passport control – a matter of minutes. Put the stamp in the passport and no questions asked. Opposite the airport there are buses of Havatas company. To reach the hotel Maywood need a bus that goes to Taksim. They go on a schedule, but if the bus is full, then leaves before. The road to Taksim took me about an hour (any traffic jams at lunch time I didn’t notice). The fare is 14 lire (1 Lira = about 20 rubles). From Taksim get to the hotel by taxi less than half an hour.
The location is the best that you can imagine! Hotel Maywood is located on the quietest street, but it should take a few minutes, within walking distance is all the fun there is to see in Istanbul… the Check took about two minutes.
